ABOUT BO
Coaching with a plan, not a tip of the day.
Bo Baker founded the academy in 2019, the same year he was elected to PGA membership, after assistant professional roles in Colorado and Idaho. Today he's Director of Instruction at Baker Golf Performance, coaching adults and juniors at The Creek at Qualchan and in the indoor simulator all winter.
He built the coaching system every coach here uses: practice games that produce a score, a written plan after every session, and messaging between sessions so progress doesn't stall between visits. Off the lesson tee he serves on the Inland Empire PGA Board of Directors and has mentored young coaches through the RGX program.
The most rewarding part of coaching for Bo is watching players do something they’ve never done before. Whether it’s shooting their lowest score, not hitting a slice, understanding green reading, or simply playing their best in front of their friends.
“Nothing is more rewarding than hearing from one of my players that they shot their lowest score.”
