ABOUT TAYLOR

A tournament player who fell in love with coaching.

Taylor played both golf and soccer in college, then spent his early 20s as a golf professional at Mount Snow Golf Club in Vermont, building his coaching craft while traveling the Northeast to compete in state opens and professional events. His best-known finish came at the 2016 New Hampshire Open, where rounds of 67, 73 and 67 left him at 9-under par, one shot out of a playoff.

He kept competing, winning several events on the Western New York PGA circuit, but found that helping other golfers improve was what he loved most. A few months into COVID-19, he put golf on hold and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He completed the demanding SERE pipeline and spent six years as a Survival Instructor, teaching airmen to operate in some of the toughest conditions imaginable, and earned his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University along the way.

Now he's back to his true passion. You'll find Taylor coaching at The Creek at Qualchan, working on his own game, making golf content at @tpage_golf and, in his words, “ripping” his mountain bike. At home, he's a husband and dad to a young daughter.

“Coaching has never been just about making a swing better. It's about helping people understand their game, build confidence and enjoy golf more.”
